Step 1:  Pilgrims need to open the TTD services portal. Make an online account for the portal through the link https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in 

Step 2: Continue by uploading the following:

Ø  Your photo.

Ø  Personal details.

Ø  Identity proof like an Aadhaar card, Passport/Voter ID, and PAN Card.

Step 3: Choose your payment mode and provide the requested details from the given modes:

Offline process for Darshan booking.

Individuals who wish to book their tickets offline at the temple can easily purchase them at the counters. The temple provides E-Darshan counters for booking seva and darshan tickets. The ticket counters are also found in numerous cities within the country.

NB. Once the booking is done no cancellation, refund, postponement, or advancement of tickets can be allowed.

Darshan types in Tirumala Tirupati Temple.

Several types of darshan are provided in Tirumala Tirupati. Below are the types of darshan offered in Tirumala Tirupati temple.

v  Special entry Darshan.

Special Entry Darshan has a high demand thus getting vast bookings. With the huge numbers, Darshan booking is offered online only and should be booked in advance (Between 2 to 3 months).

 The special entry Darshan costs a constant Rs 300 per person and a provision of one laddoo. One can book the darshan by using the Tirupati official website at, https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in. The booking process takes a few minutes. The special Darshan provided include:

ü  Special Darshan for Physically challenged and senior citizens.

The physically and senior citizens special Darshan is a free Darshan booked in advance through the Tirupati official website. The Darshan is for devotees who are differently abled and senior citizens above 65 years and medical cases. To avail the Special Darshan takes place from Monday to Saturday starting from 3:00 pm.

ü  Special Entry NRI Darshan.

It's possible for NRI citizens to avail Darshan tickets by providing various documents. For NRI to get the special Darshan has to produce the following details:

  • ·         Visa.
  • ·         NRI Status proof (issued by the government).
  • ·         Passport.

The Darshan is offered every day at a cost of Rs 300 without laddoo from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Devotees need to use the entry area at SED Hall at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-1.

ü  Special Entry Darshan for parents with infants under 1 year.

The Parents with Infants Darshan is free and offered to parents with infants below 1 year. It starts from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. Its entry point is through Supadham between Vaikuntam Queue Complex 1 and Hathiramji Mutt. 

  • v  Sarva Darshan without Ticket.

The Sarva Darshan is free. No ticket is needed but you have to line up in a queue. The timings for Sarva Darshan vary from one day to another. On normal days the Darshan is set for 18 hours compared to peak days which is allotted 20 hours. The waiting pilgrims get tea, coffee, milk, and Annaprasadam after every 3 hours. Its entry point is at the Vainkutam Queue complex.

  • v  VIP Break Darshan.

In VIP Break Darshan is a Darshan where no huge crowds or any kind of push. The darshan is allotted for one hour which takes 45 to 50 minutes. The advantage of the VIP Break Darshan is that pilgrims are allowed to move near the Moola Virat of Lord Venkateswara hence they can be there for some minutes.

Ways for booking VIP Darshan.

The VIP Darshan booking include:

  • ·         Srivani Trust Donor Scheme.

This type of Darshan one can attend without a recommendation letter by offering a donation to Srivani Trust. After the donation, a devotee is provided with one darshan ticket in one year. Early online booking is accepted through the Tirupati official portal. Also, offline booking is available at the Tirupati airport counter.

  • ·         Protocol VIPs.

The protocol VIPs are as president, vice president, MLAs, Scientists, Ministers and chief ministers, Group 1 officers, and higher dignitaries.

  • ·         Non-protocol VIPs.

The Darshan is not available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. A devotee can get the Darshan through a letter coming from a local MP, MLA, and higher authorities having a recommendation and official letter pad. No online process for letter submission thus you should submit it before 2:00 pm if you need to attend the Darshan the following morning. On the letter of approval, a feedback message is sent to your mobile at 6:00 pm. The Non-protocol VIPs Darshan costs INR 500 each.

  • v  Darshan under Package Tours.

The Darshan is booked through the respective government tourism websites. The Tirumala Government Package Tours are provided by:

  • o   TTDC from Chennai, Tricky, and Bangalore.
  • o   APTDC.
  • o   IRCTC.
  • o   Flight packages (From Hyderabad).
  • o   TSRTC.
  • v  Slotted Sarva Darshan.

The Darshan is free and no waiting in line. There are advance tickets provided through the 109 SSD ticket counters found in Tirupati. To get the darshan ticket token you must have the Aadhaar card. The 109 SSD counters open at 5:00 pm and give out the day’s tokens.
